It is ordinary to feel anxious sometimes especially when we are pressured from work or school, pushed from a stressful family life or a confined relationship but an extreme and continuous anxiety is another story. Anxiety may be a result of either an environmental or physical situation. This may include past bitter experiences that is felt all of the sudden in the present life, it could also be hereditary or genetics with the cause of hormonal imbalance, could trigger from stress, poverty, drug abuse and many others. There are so many reasons for anxiety but one thing constant is that when someone is under the anxiety attack, one is being placed into a position where one feels a high sense of dread and fear, pressure and vulnerability.

This technique often associates the blending of one’s mind and body to nature like practices such as yoga, taichi, meditation, breathing exercises and many others. Patients who have generalized anxiety disorder who suffer from restlessness, nervousness, petulance, irritation, or poor concentration may greatly benefit this technique since its purpose is to bring patients with anxiety to calmness and promote control to one’s body and mind.
