Why You Will Love a TV Mobile Phone
Not so many years ago did we see the booming of yet another technological innovation, the TV mobile phone. These types of cell phone have become very popular and widely used in the United States. In fact, almost all telecommunications companies offer these TV mobile phones, such as Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and Singular. Except for the TV phones offered by AT&T, majority of the TV equipped cell phones in the US are digital TV cell phones.
For your information, a digital TV phone has a very different function when compared with a regular TV that we use. A typical television set contains a regular and scheduled programming of channels that you can actually choose from. You can easily change the channels if you want to watch another program. On the other hand, a mobile TV phone has a pre-recorded list of programs that can be viewed from the mobile phone.
This kind of system is actually similar to that of the Internet. You first have to upload the content to a particular database where you can select and access it. What this means is that the only TV stations that you can access through your cell phone are those that you have chosen and asked from your provider. There is, however, a limitation to your choice of programs as only your provider can determine which programs can be streamed to your cell phone directly.
A mobile phone with TV is not made just to function as television. They are still mobile phones that can have a lot of features and applications, such as dual SIM card capability, Bluetooth, digital photo, MP player, and many others. The primary benefit of these kinds of mobile phones is that you will always have the chance to watch your favorite shows anytime that you want as you have full access to these shows.
Mobile TV phones actually work the same way as digital camcorders record shows, except that there is no need for you to record the shows on your own as they are already uploaded on the server which your mobile phone has unlimited access to. Therefore, it is only up to you when you would wish to view it.
However, there is still of course a downside to this. First is that you might not be able to choose the shows that you really want. As you can only choose among the TV programs that the provider has available, you have no control over what shows should be included on that list. Another thing is the inconvenience that you may have in watching from a very small screen. Of course the size of the screen affect the quality of our viewing, just like how amazing it is to watch on a wide screen TV.
Therefore, if you choose to subscribe to a mobile TV provider, be sure to choose only the shows that you are fond of watching. In addition, it will be a good idea to get some phone accessories, such as headphones for better audio quality. Remember also to make comparisons among the mobile TV phones available, so that you can know which devices are equipped with the best screen resolution and highest quality of images.
You can buy TV mobile phones just the same way that you buy regular cell phones. However, if you buy a TV mobile phone, it does not necessarily mean that you have signed up for the mobile TV service. There is, as expected, a fee that you have to pay for the cell phone TV features. The prices can range from the basic service of $13 and a premium plan of $30 a month.
